oh goodness...our weekend was eventful....very eventful. Avery went to the Grace for the first time with her gammy and pops. Lots of fun was had!! Pops quickly realized Avery can be very intimidating to other children..something I've been telling people this WHOLE TIME!! Saturday was grandparents' night and Avery spent the majority of an hour running from her room to gammy's room yelling at her uncle Geoff...well she says geff with a hard guh sound haha.
Sunday brought the Trammell bbq, puddles, and fireworks! Avery found every puddle she could and splashed splashed splashed!!! All in all the weekend was awesome. I got some me time, Avery time, and most of all couple time. Bennett and I have been married for just over 1 month :) So far this summer has been awesome, but it's halfway over uggghhh. Off to work out!!! Hasta luego!!!!!!

now or never
I'm blogging! I'm blogging! Oh gosh now I have to think of something to say. I suppose it's always best to start from the beginning. One year ago tomorrow Bennett and I got engaged. Ten months flew by and now we are official. Today started out normally...Avery woke up at 8:30 on the nose. Breakfast consisted of eggs on the floor, Snap hurriedly enjoying his good fortune, and Elmo singing in the background. The usual scene at the Simpson house. But..oh there is always a but...i got dishes done before 9 and the catbox changed...ugh. After a whirlwind of shoes and clothes, the three of us are dressed..yay out before 11!! The next thirty minutes consisted of trecking from willis to industrial and then back to pioneer. Finally, we found what we were looking for and our lovely wait at the Avis Lube began. Thankfully, there is a separate room for "children". I never understood why the call it a "playroom". I mean seriously; just put a sign on the door that says: parents, please bring your child into our separate (but equal haha) room...your child will probably be annoying. Well, my sweet bundle of meat is no exception to the rule..she very politely stared at a man until he was visibly uncomfortable; she talked to anyone who would listen, captured the attention of all 7 people in the waiting room, and still managed a trip with daddy outside..for "exploring". Oh the life of an 18 month old. I found myself in trouble this week. Avery is most definitely infatuated with the male population. She has eyelash batting down and the blue eyes are deadly i promise. Professional flirt but we love it. I'm anxious to see what this child has in store for us. So far it's been a ball. Until next time. Adios!
